Library Card
To receive a library card you must present a photo ID and proof of residency
Adult Cards
To check out any materials from the library, you have to get a library card.
Childrens Cards
Children ages 6 - 15 may have their own cards. A parent or legal guardian must fill out the card application for them, with the adult supplying his/her own driver's license and proof of address. Anyone over 15 showing their own TN driver's license and/or proof of address (voter's registration, utility bill, checkbook imprint, etc.) may have a card.
Children may not check out videos.
Corporate/Organizations Cards
Corporate library cards may be issued to group homes, day cares, etc. The director of the organization must fill out the card application, and agree to be responsible for all fines and missing items. The actual card will be kept at the library, so that all persons needing to use the card will have access.
Card Fees
Out-of-county residents (adults) - $10.00 (children) - free
TTU students - free
Replacement cards - $2.00
Putnam County residents - free
Library Card Agreement
You must assume legal responsibility for the library materials that are checked out on your card. If you damage or lose an item, you will be charged its repair or replacement cost, plus processing charges.
Information on library cards must be correct. If you change your address, phone number, and/or name, tell us that you need a new label on your card.

Library Card Number
Pin Number
To receive a pin number, send an email to tech@pclibrary.org
Include your library card number
We do not allow materials to be checked out if there is a balance on your account.
Boating Safety Exam
Call 931-526-2416 to schedule an appointment to take the exams. Exams are taking on a computer in the library.
