 Orbit by John Nance is set in 2009. A man wins a trip on a commercial space flight. Through a series of events he ends up orbiting the earth with no hope of return. The knowledge that he will die in 4 days is a major part of the book. He writes his autobiography that offers good advice to all. A second focus is on the effects of his writing on people on earth. A good, quick read.
