Shadows
at the Spring Show / Lea Wait

College
Professor and Print Dealer Maggie Summer has volunteered to organize
an antiques show to benefit an organization that aids adoptive parents.
Maggie wants children, but since she is recently widowed, feels
that adoption may be her best chance.
Soon, however, anonymous messages warn that the show must be
cancelled and the threats are followed by a shooting and fires.
A twist involving the college president’s wife causes Maggie
to look for the suspects in several places.
The suspense is very high, and Maggie is a smart and realistic
woman trying to make things better. Her greatest fear is that
the Show will be the target of massive violence.
I am enjoying the information about antiques and prints that
Ms. Wait sprinkles throughout her novels. This is the fourth one
in the series.
