Learn about the Creative side of science and history
This show brings science and history alive as Ben shares many of his scientific experiments and inventions including his first invention as a youth, the swim paddles. Also, they will see the chilling account of the Kite experiment and hear and see Franklin’s favorite invention, the glass armonica. Students participate in a number of the events in Franklin’s life as they join him on stage and interact with the unique and rare props. These are unforgettable memories the students will keep for a lifetime.
The audience will be inspired as Franklin relives his involvement in the founding of our country. A sense of renewed patriotism for the struggles and sacrifices endured by our founding fathers has brought audiences to their feet in appreciation for this stirring chapter in Franklin's life.
The presentation is a professional production using incredible props, a beautiful set, music, stories, student interaction, authentic costuming, and the character of Ben Franklin. Mr. Mitchell’s amazing likeness of this great American helps students immediately identify with the character. From the moment he walks on stage the audience fells they are in the presence of living history. This has prompted many principals and teachers to comment, “You ARE Ben Franklin”!
